Spotlight
A floating chat bar you can summon over whatever you're doing, without switching to the app.
Summon it
Press the Spotlight shortcut — Shift+Cmd+I on macOS, Shift+Ctrl+I on Windows/Linux (rebindable in Settings → General). A bar appears centered over your screen. Press the shortcut again, hit Esc, or click away to dismiss it.
Send a message
Type a prompt and press Enter. The message goes to your default connection, the main window comes forward, and the conversation continues there.
Drag to screenshot
Drag anywhere on the screen (outside the bar) to select a region. The app captures that area as a PNG and attaches it to your next Spotlight message — ask about an error dialog, a chart, a design, anything on screen. Attach several regions before sending.
Region capture needs Screen Recording permission. The first time you try, the app points you to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording; grant it and restart the app.
Clipboard auto-paste
On by default (Settings → General → Clipboard auto-paste): when Spotlight opens, the current clipboard text is pre-filled into the bar so you can send or edit it immediately. Turn it off to always start empty.
Remembering position
Drag the bar itself to reposition it; the offset is saved and restored next time.
