Dashboard & activity
The Overview dashboard
The workspace root is the pipeline at a glance: deals by stage, deals in progress, overdue tasks, and closed-won / open-pipeline totals.
A Me / Everyone toggle at the top switches between your own numbers and the whole team's. The choice lives in the URL, so a link you send someone opens on the same scope you were looking at.
The activity timeline
Every contact, company and deal has an Activity tab — a timeline with a composer at the top.
Log a note, call, email, meeting or task
- Click into the composer ("Log a note, call, email, meeting or task…").
- Pick the type, type what happened, submit.
Most email and meeting entries aren't typed by anyone — they arrive from the Gmail / Calendar sync automatically. Logging by hand is for what happened off the record: a hallway conversation, a phone call.
Tasks with due dates
- Switch the composer type to Task.
- Type what needs doing, optionally set a Due date.
- Add task.
Check the box next to a task in the timeline to complete it. An overdue task is flagged in red. There's no separate "my tasks" inbox — the timeline on the record is the list.
Open the source of a synced entry
Click a synced email or meeting entry to open the underlying Gmail thread or Calendar event when the summary line doesn't show enough.
Freshness
There's no response cache in front of the data layer. A list refetches when a mutation says what it changed — close a deal and the board, the timeline entry, and your dashboard numbers all move together. Background work the browser can't see — enrichment finishing — is polled while a record's status is pending and stops once it settles, on the list and the record sheet.
